Me and my friend have tried for weeks! We beat him once, but then he goes onto the next section and if you die there, you go back to the first section! WTF? Anyone else frustrated with this?

ha, then holy sh!t you aren't alone. I hated Kraven, he was a real biatch. No doubt about it was he the hardest villain in the entire game- for me. It took me some 30 tries to beat him, so don't fret you aren't alone.
although once you DO beat him, it's awesome cuz if you ever replay storymode (with the blacksuit full way the second time around), beating him was easier cuz I just had the prior knowledge of it.

That was hard.
I gave up for like a month, then tried again about 30 times and I eventually won. Make sure after you finish him you're alert because it makes you do a cinematic button pressing thing (whatever they're called) and if you mess that up you have to start over. You're probably past it or done with the game by now since you wrote this several months ago.

What I find impossible (even now, years after I first played the game) is that final mission with Dr Connors and you have to get all the Lizard men cured.
MILLIONS of them seem to be there, you have to stop them wrecking the antidote machine or else you fail.
But there is so many of them it is actually impossible ! Even with Spidey's ground slam special move and all the other moves, that antidote machine gets raped EVERY SINGLE TIME.
I've given up on that.
