I'm so disappointed that this is going direct to Netflix :-(

For years we were promised a third Pee-Wee movie, and now when it's finally being made, it's direct to Netflix 😟 I want to see this on a big movie screen, not on a TV 😞

In a way, I agree. It feels like Pee Wee isn't big enough for a theatrical film, but it ain't the 80s no more.

I'm just glad we're getting another Pee Wee film though.

Who knows, it still has a while until it comes out. Netflix may release this on some limited theater run. Even if it doesn't make it to theaters, places like The Alamo Drafthouse may pick it up in the future for special screenings. I'm sure it will see the inside of a theater at some point in the next few years.

You see, the problem with the big screen is that when the movie premieres, Reubens will attend the premiere, and we all know what might happen there...

I don't have access to Netflix, fingers crossed for a dvd.

On the main page it says coming soon in theaters March 18th so some theaters will show it.
