1. Left 4 Dead- This is the kind of game I've been waiting for for years, the only problem it has is that there isn't enough of it!
2. Resident Evil 4- Hands down, the best single player experience in this genre, even better than the one above. Anybody who talks bad about Leon and his well-timed and super duper creative puns is a LOSER!
3. Timesplitters 2 & 3- One word: Virus.
4. Silent Hill 2- Had to put the scariest game I've ever played somewhere on this list. That initial apartment complex alone wins that award, lol.
5. Diablo- Say what you want...but in the first one, when you die, you die! It's pretty creepy too, so there!
