Was the trailer music one of the themes in The Rock?
Thought I recognized it... maybe its from somewhere else...
Anyone?

It's from Gladiator.

No the music is not from gladiator, though similar at parts the music is special written for ARN and supposed to be the soundtrack.

I don't think the score's from any other movie; essentially ALL musical scores follow a standard formula, and therefor sound pretty similar.

The music in the trailer is written for the trailer. It's not part of the film's score, which hasn't been written or recorded yet, or any other score.

No it is not. It's from the Gladiator. It's in this fan trailer aswell where they say that they have taken it from the Gladiator:

In that case there must be more than one version of the trailer, because the one I saw did not use music from Gladiator. It SOUNDED like Zimmer's Gladiator, but it wasn't.
