So is it just the first book or does it cover more of them? Need to know if I have to read past the first book before I see it.

Its the first book and a big part off the second one to.

Yeah... since the title of the movie is the title of the second book I wondered if they didn't skip the first book... but they probably took 2 books in one movie. How convenient :-)

In this first movie of Arn, it is the first book and half of the second book.
