Alex Perry .....what on earth is his problem.

In the UK we're watching cycle 9.
There have been other cycles shown but not too many.
It's always struck me that this version of the format has had girls on it that are very often young and often very thin. Okay...that's the choices of the producers.
But what I don't get is why the producers have a man on as a judge who seems to think that being bitchy and critical to the point of cruelty, is acceptable and he does it as a matter of course.
Asking a girl to be confident in future when you're just finished destroying her confidence is counterproductive to put it mildly.
Or perhaps he just likes making kids cry.

I get the 'I'm the mean one on the panel' stereotype which seems to be obligatory on all reality shows but he pushes it too far.
He just comes across as a verbal bully....
There is a way to be constructively critical without being nasty, he's just nasty.

Ironic when in the UK press at the moment he's whining about how 'It's unfair and he's being picked on' because he's been criticised for employing a super thin model ....awwww, what a shame for him.
