Season 10 - What Is Going On Here? (SPOILER WARNING!)
WHAT. THE. HELL??? There is no way this season was not rigged. It's like the entire season was engineered for Aleyna to win. The whole season was so one-sided. The odds were so ridiculously stacked in Aleyna's favor that there was no way she would not win. It made the entire season predictable, dull, and boring. She was so far ahead of the pack it made the competition borderline unfair for her to be in it. And I'm sorry, but that photo of Aleyna in episode 9 was NOT worthy of a 10. It was not. The only reason Alex gave her a 10 is because she NEEDED that 10 to get through to the finals. He put her through because he was playing favorites. Love her or hate her, Daisy's photo WAS better than Aleyna's that week. And I think it's complete BS that Alex gave Aleyna a 10 for that photo.
A lot of the challenges also seemed very suspicious to me this season. There were a bunch of challenges where some of the girls deserved higher scores than they got. I also feel that the judges were more strict/harsh on some girls than others.
One challenge that really stands out to me as being extremely suspicious is the casting challenge in episode 9. I don't know if I was watching a different show than everybody else, but from the footage that was shown in episode 9 it looked to me as though Daisy had the best performance and the best feedback during that challenge. (In spite of her panic attack right before the challenge). But then when the challenge results came up she was given the lowest score? So, I'm very confused here. Do they even double check the scores to make sure they got them right? Because to me it seemed like they mixed up Daisy and Sabine's scores in that challenge. I mean, Sabine almost fell over during her walk for crying out loud. And the client constantly had to tell her to stop smiling. But then she still ended up with such a high score? There was definitely something fishy going on with the scores for that challenge. Go and watch episode 9 again and then come here and tell me those scores don't seem fishy.
If I recall correctly on one of the seasons of America's Next Top Model they mixed up the scores of one of the challenges between two of the girls. I can't remember exactly which season it was, but I vaguely remember something like that happening, and there was a huge uproar about it, but I think the judges corrected the scores during panel that week if my memory serves me. I can't remember all the details, but I do remember there was some mix up with the scores at one point on America's Next Top Model, but they did end up fixing the mistake, thankfully. Anyway, I was thinking that maybe something like that happened here. It sure feels to me like they got the challenge scores mixed up for the casting challenge in season 10 episode 9.
