I was interested in the story of Eddie Dodson when I read William J Rehder's absolutely fantastic "Where the Money Is" and just came across this when trying to research a few of the characters in it. It says it's a 2008 production, but that aside there seems to be little in the ay of retelling what's happening with it. Anyone know?

shareI grew up with Timothy Ford, and can't wait for this movie to be out. I didn't know Eddie but at least one old friend had met him.
addendum.. heard from personal resources involving TF's bro...financial phenomena potentially affecting production negatively... hope it's not true...
As a family member, I hope the movie doesn't come out and if it does, I hope it bombs. Eddie was a loser and used people to get drugs, even his extended family.

Just watched it and enjoyed it. Don't know how accurate it was to true events so I can't say, but Sturgess acted the part well.
Heard Ewan McGregor wanted to play that part and to be honest although he's a good actor I think Sturgess was the right choice.
If you are going to compare it to the facts I suppose it will be ripped apart, but as is entertainment wise 7/10
