They are shooting in front of the Cirque Du Soleil Headquarters, in the East end of the Island. They are shooting there until Aug 31st

They're going to be shooting September 1st from 6pm until the morning of the 2nd on the corner of University Ave. and Belmont Ave (where way too many movies are filmed). The signs are already out on the sidewalk for no parking

It is 6:40 pm and I just finished watching the crew film a water scene complete with wind machines and water, the cast got soaked. The wind and rain was so strong that we, as bystanders, had to move back to keep from getting wet. Does anyone know what the movie is about becasue the set was designed to mimic a New York City street including the placement of a sign for West 56th Street in NY? I thought this was a UK production?

reply

The movie is about a major storm going on in New York City... It is a UK production though, from the BBC.

I work at the Bell tower, I usually park on Belmont when I work weekends, had to find alternate parking near Square Victoria, oh well.

They couln't have found a better time to film than this long weekend, the leftovers from Hurricane Ernesto are coming over tomorrow and Monday.

Right now they're shooting in a house just down the street from where i live. On Saint-hubert, a bit above Roy. It's been going on for a couple of days.

When I was in Montreal a little over a month ago, Metcalfe street downtown had the movie signs. They were filming in front of the Sun Life Building (Metcalfe and Rene Levesque).

Just saw them an hour ago filming in Chinatown in Toronto. funny to see him walking down the street smoking a cigarette reading lines...

Him as in Chris Potter? And filming in Toronto, that would be a different movie than Superstorm, right?
