WHEN IS IT MADE?

I notice that many of the segments seem to have just one or two workers making stuff, I have a hard time beliveing that these big factories don't have more people working there, or are they filmed on down days with just enough workers to show us...How it's Made.

Never depend on anything and you will never be disappointed.

This is an extremely odd detail to concern yourself with. Just watch and learn already.

My impression was due to automation, the companies don't need more than one or two workers to run things. In the episodes where products are made 'the old fashioned way' in Latin America or Asian factories, (ex: rubber bands) there's hundreds of workers.

Most of the time, they only film a few workers because the factory owner doesn't want the cameras to get in the way of the real production. And a lot of the time the normal rate of production is too fast for a viewer to see what's going on.

So they have a select few workers take us through the production in baby steps.
