This movie is an utterly mess.
The story i cant fully comment on since i couldnt handle watching much more than about 20 min. The picture side is almost endurable but it still sucks. The sound side is worse than anything i can remember ever watching.
All considered this must be the worst piece of crap i have seen. It reminds me of short pictures made by schoolchildren. just longer....
A Proud Dane
I wanted to like this film, rented the DVD, but couldn't manage to watch much more than 20 minutes myself. The first thing that had me disappointed was the opening credits. It looked like they had an ameture high school student doing still art work for it. My heart sunk at this, but I still had hopes. It's hard to believe, based upon what I saw, that this film was nominated for awards.
Should I have stayed with it a bit longer?
Just watched it... It's nothing less than terrible. But it's great to see respected danish actors make fools out of them selves.
Everything is a mess: Acting, dialoge, script, editing, photography and direction is on a "school Project" level.
We got a few laughs out of it though. Rent it (DON'T BUY IT), have a few beers and a lot of laughs

Do not compare this movie with the formulated hollywood diat.
If you addicted to hollywood material, try to keep an open mind.
Sometimes watching a movie like this takes a learning curve, but it is worth it.
I agree. While there is significant room for improvement, it's important to rate this movie in its proper class--independent, low budget, etc. I can appreciate the effort that went into this project. The awards it won are from small film festivals, such as the Bare Bones award in OK. Nothing like Cannes or Sundance. I'd recommend watching this if you enjoy small scale productions or if you're an aspiring film student. If you just want to see an action/adventure warrior movie with big effects, good sound, quality editing, cinematography, watch Gladiator or Troy. This is definitely not that kind of movie.
shareYou can't rate a movie with an "independent scale", if it's bad, it's bad - and if they didn't have the money to make a decent epic, then they shouldn't have maken an epic imo. Can't wait to watch it though, sounds alotta fun :)
