The Last Film to be Shot on The Rock?
Word has it that "Curse of Alcatraz" will be the last film ever to have been shot in America's most infamous prison. Interesting...

shareAnd what the hell does that mean? How can this be "The Last Movie EVER, FOR REAL, REALLY, REALLY EVER TO BE SHOT IN ALCATRAZ"? It sounds like some marketing BS.
shareI agree total BS!
WHY should they not shoot any more movies on Alcatraz?
I think as long as the studios pay money to use it, it will be used.
It is not exactly like they are raking in the money from tours or anything else right now.
I have read it numerous places on the web. Something to do with maintaining a historical national environment and National Parks and Services.
Kinda like not chopping down trees in the Redwood Forest. Get it?
It may be a marketing ploy, but do some research before you bust your gut.
It should be the last film ever shot by the director of this s**t movie!
Hell is other people

It's definitely the worst movie to be shot on The Rock.
NoMatterHowMuchYouThinkYouLoveSomebody,You'llStepBackWhenThePoolOfTheirBloodEdgesUpTooClose.
Its the last movie like the last crap you took. You took your last crap until your next one. get it?
shareIn order to film on Alcatraz you must state something historically accurate to obtain the permits. Because films on Alcatraz generate huge increases of visitors it is higly unlikely that they will stop filming on the island.
I worked there for 3 years, wanna know whats historically innacurate about this film?
Just ask.
as an actor i have worked the rock on several films, a escape from alcatraz tv movie, downtime, murder in the first, the rock ...all interesting because of the location... by far the best is murder in the 1st...but alcatraz sometimes sells other stuff not worthy of being sold...
peace
The "Curse of Alcatraz" was this movie!
