A 'real' American Buddy film

I don't think I've seen such a sentive and honest portratal of a friendship between two guys for an American film. And to think these two leads made so many "brainless" teen movies. Loved it...especially the end scene.

I agree this movie is a rare, honest portrayal of friendship.

I've seen some great chick buddy films ("Kamikaze Girls", "New Waterford Girl"), but rarely have I seen a dude buddy film that doesn't descend into brainless antics.

"Grand Theft Parsons" is a really good dude buddy film, although they're not exactly buddies (more like they hate each others' guts). Oh, and of course there's "Stand By Me", the best childhood-buddy film ever.
