Let's hope whoever produces it can get as many of the former winners as possible (someone please get Miyoshi Umeki, Dorothy Malone, and Joan Fontaine). It would be great to see Joanne Woodward and Paul Newman as well. Whatever happened to Linda Hunt? And of course the great Liz who has been away from Oscar for far too long.

Here's to a great year in movies. In 11 months we will see old faces, new faces, the well remembered and the unjustly forgotten. I hope many are nominees. Here's to a great year in film.

The Academy did a big parade of former winners for the 70th so it stands to reason that a big one for the 80th should happen too.

The 80th Academy Awards should be held at the Beverly Hills hotel and salute classic Hollywood. It is time to show the new generation what and where Hollywood has come from. The glamour. The glitz. Real "Acting". And give Lauren Bacall that long overdue statuette already. Broadcast in black and white. Oh, but I have a vision. If only someone will listen.

THE "BEST" SONG ON THE YEAR GETS WORSE ND WORSE!

The Oscars used to have five incredible songs to choose from...today, the songs are very weak and unmemorable. Who remembers any of them?

The all seem to come from one animated movie after another. Boring as hell!!
