People Ignored by last years In Memorium

Here is a list of people ignored by Oscars 2006 in memorium. I have included dates of death to show they all died BEFORE the Feb 15th, 2006 cutoff. I'm sure Don Knotts and Darren Mcgavin will be included this year but how terrible is it that the individuals below never will.

Geraldine Fitzgerald (died 7/17/05 Oscar Nominee for Best Supporting Actress for Wuthering Heights in 1939.. played Dudley Moore's Mom in Arthur)

Ruth Hussey (died 4/19/05 Oscar Nominee for Best Supporting Actress for The Philedelphia Story in 1940)

Frank Gorshin (died 5/20/05 well known character actor with several supporting roles in film... played the riddler in the 1966 batman movie)

James Doohan (died 7/20/05 Cheif Engineer Scotty in 7 star trek movies)

--below are less film oriented people, not including them made a little more sense to me (just information in case someone disagrees with me I guess)
Don Adams (died 8/25/05 appeared in several movies most well known for the TV show Get Smart which also had a movie version made that he stared in)

Bob Denver (died 8/2/05 TVs Gilligan... had a few minor roles in a few movies)

I'll bet there are more. To reiterate, I already know that some people such as Don Knotts were ignored because they died in late feb. or mar so I am not counting those people because I know they will be mentioned this year.
However... the academy sucks for not mentioning the people listed above who all died in 2005. If Ernest gets mentioned the year he died then all of these people should too.

I have a question about the montage of Biographical films during the 78th annual academy awards. Wha was the music they used during the montage?

they did get James Doohan on this years and of course Don Knotts and Darren McGavin. but they missed the rest i think. Bob Denver and Don Adams were TV stars, not movie stars. I think any Oscar Nominee or winner should be included. did they miss anyone else this year?

They forgot Yvonne De Carlo who died in January 07. Also Shelley Winters--she died in Jan of 06 but didn't make it that year OR this year that i could see. Am i wrong?

Oscar remembers those who passed in the year after the previous telecast, so anyone that passed away in January 06 would have been on last years in Memorium. ie: Chris Penn.

I was wondering about the Yvonne De Carlo omission as well. I thought maybe they only go by calendar year like they do with the films?
