No mention of religion or India in this movie.

2 strange things in this movie:

1) No mention of religion. Even the wedding seemed like it was done by a judge or something. A typical Indian movie would have brought in religion in every aspect of such a dramatic movie, especially in the hospital scene, and the last race scene.

2) Only a fleeting reference to India, just a flag on the main character's (and maybe the pit crew) racing suit. When they move into cabbie alley, someone asks them if they are from India, the guy says he is from Manhattan.

yeh it doesnt matter! but fyi the suit that saif and his crew wear when racing, has a little indian flag embedded.

not all hindi movies need strong references to religion or national pride but yes. as one of the people who commented on this mentioned, saif and his crew have a tiny indian flag on their cap or something. :)

It certainly's not strange for Indian movies to not have any religious reference or scream 'INDIA!' . You need to watch more Indian movies, dude.
