I live in Chicago

It is so sad that here I am in the city where the wide sidewalks are everywhere. Older storefront buildings are right up to the road making it convenient for all pedestrians. and yet most people here insist on getting in their car and driving miles to the Walmart. They are constantly asking me "when are you gonna get a car?"

It is so sad that people can't see the beauty in this old city. Just about every house here has the parking from the back of the house. (from the back ally) and yet there are these new houses and new businesses that are destroying the whole decor with parking right in front as if this is the "new Chicago progress".

"We need to get rid of that there water tower building on Michigan avenue and build us one of them there Walmarts."
