really beautiful

Really beautiful film. Seeing Edwards exhibition at the AGO a few years ago was so inspirational. This film provided so much insight into his work. The film is really just an overview of his images. Really inspiring.

not to mention the music was brilliant for the mood and pace.

wonderful film.

While I can appreciate finding the visual beauty of these man-made abysses, ramincorp, I think there’s a larger point you’ve missed. I find this film utterly depressing but very important. We are led to think it’s so great that our electronics can be “recycled”, but look at what the people who break these things down in places like India are exposing themselves to. It’s horrible. Inspiring? In what way exactly? I found the pace of the film often too slow, which just added to it’s depressive quality.

Yes, its very beautiful. I have been looking for good looking pictures of industry for years, this had lot of good looking pictures in one place. I probably find industrial dystopia to be beautiful because there is very little industry in are where I live. I don't find nature to be visually beautiful.

Also as supporter anarchist capitalism I think all forms of so called exploitation are positive be it in form of destroying nature, child slavery, selling organs, sex trade etc. All these phenomena are still rising living standards of people otherwise they wouldn't exist. I think the alternatives are by far worse. All the terrible things in world are caused by overpopulation.
