this is hard to believe

i liked very much this movie and totally enjoyed it, but i think it's far from being realistic. I mean it's hard to believe that Will and April, who haven't seen eachother for about 10 years, meet after all that long time and remember their uncompleted love.

I think they'd remember it, but yes, the rekindling was quick. But it's a movie. For the audience it was only minutes.

But there are two things in this movie that stick out to me as being almost psychologically impossible and rather huge plot holes to get by.

1. No 10-year-old child is going to help her divorcing dad find the woman he loves if it's not her own mom. She would fight it all the way, especially in the beginning.

2. It's ridiculous April was even remotely angry Will got Jane Eyre back to her years after he had found it. She was thrilled to see him, she would have been thrilled to have gotten the book back whenever.
But it led to a sweet ending.

In all other aspects this is a smart rom-com and I'm very fond of it.

About #2, I give you http://m.imdb.com/title/tt0832266/board/threads/194689198/ . You're either a guy or a none emotional girl. That would be a deal breaker to most women.
