I love Tekonkinkreet, and just having watched Gummo it is apparent that Tekonkinkreet was influenced by it. Tummler and Solomon from Gummo are like Black and White. I liked Gummo just as much as Tekonkinkreet and i liked how such diferent movies had scenes that were so strikingly similiar.

Wouldn't Black and White in the manga predate Gummo? Just from Wikipedia they first showed up in 1993, Gummo was released in 1997 and I don't see a book for it. I might be wrong.

Can you elaborate on which scenes are strikingly similar? I'm finding it difficult to draw any comparison
