Who calls their son 'honey'?

I call my son,"Honey, Sweetie, Lamby pie, Light of my life", all in one breath.
I say it lovingly and, sometimes, through gritted teeth..

i have a daughter, I call her Munch (for Munchkin). I know lots of people who have cute pet names for their sons including honey, what difference does it make as long as its said with love.

I would call my kid "little *beep*

i think what the OP meant to say was that it was weird for a DAD to call their son honey. and i agree, that was bizarre. males don't bond like that.

My husband call our son: " little man" sometimes "darling or sweety" I think is lovely.

Hi Darkfalz - while I realize my response is a couple years later, there are a lot of parents call their sons "honey", seeing as how it's a common term of endearment.

I've known fathers to sometimes refer to their young sons as "honey" up until a certain age, while some mothers call their sons "honey" pretty much forever.

Which scene are you referring to -- the accident? I thought I heard Ethan call his son "baby" after he found him on the side of the road. Thanks!
