Some scenes influenced by IN THE MOOD FOR LOVE?

In some scenes in AHISTA AHISTA you see Abhay Deol walking in slow motion, with some heavy background music. This reminded me of Wong Kar-Wai's IN THE MOOD FOR LOVE, in which such scenes appeared repeatedly with Tony Leung and Maggie Cheung in it. Of course, in the latter film it was done brilliantly, and in AHISTA AHISTA it looks amateurish. I think the director was definitely influenced by that film. Did anyone else think so?

I didn't see any resemblace to 'In the Mood For Love' but the slow motion looked quite silly and poorly done.

good filming, production, and locations. story too simplistic, i did'nt like the ending myself camera stayed on girls pouty-face too long many times.

I love rings. just sayin'.

I HATED both the ending & the slow motion. The ending felt so incomplete.
