i gotta admit this was one of the best movies i've seen. i thought i'd hate it because not into monster movies but this was awesome

I had this movie on my DVR for about a year thinking it would be trash (1998 movie ruined Godzilla for me) but I finally got around to watching this movie and it was actually good. Not what I expected at all.

Got lots of bad word from the fanbois so I think this wasn't that uncommon. Still it grossed over $500MM at the box office so someone certainly saw it!

I agree! I really loved it despite some definite flaws.
