Well it could have been a couple of things. If she didn't die from being suffocated by the radiated plumes of smoke and gas that engulfed them, she could have died later on from radiation esposure. Also, it showed the whole power plant collapsing so if everyone was evacuated, and her and her team were stuck there the building probably collapsed and killed them all.
