The Tsunami

This one of the only scenes I didn't like.

Godzilla enters and leaves the water several times without causing a tsunami, and even other areas of Honolulu, just hundreds of yards away, aren't affected at all. It's an absolutely massive tsunami that kills hundreds on screen and countless more not shown...I don't understand why it happens.

Anyway, I really like this movie accept for the unnecessary tsunami scene. It just seemed like they had an idea to recreate the boxing day tsunami for some reason. It really served no purpose or made no sense.
