Sure, the Cellist is great, but what about the composer? I think this a great score and it's definitely a big part of why the movie is so wonderful!

It's definitely a great score. Primitive (like the drums) yet powerful and evocative. It also has a nice traditional Chinese flair, even though I think it was composed by a German dude!
