I think this movie is a great idea. They should make more biblical movie stories. As long as they are not biased and are well made. Who agrees?!?!

I saw the documentary on the construction and burning of the wasteman, and in it Penny Woolcock was talking about the film. Basically, here's what happens in the movie:
A right wing, racist mayor called Pharohe is elected in Margate and decides to evict all the asylem seekers, immegrants and unemployed people from the town. These people obviously don't want to go, so they protest by building a giant garbage statue and burning it.
In the actual story of exodus, the Pharohe of Egypt is protested against and cursed by Jewish slaves because they WANT TO BE LET GO.
If anything, this film is the exact opposite of exodus.

I would hope for most people that common sesne would tell them that you simply CAN'T have a modern-day enslavement tale and set it in the U.S.

Sounds like the Political Correctness police are co-opting a Biblical story to promote their own agenda. I haven't seen it yet but it doesn't sound very promising. I'd probably go see it anyway because I am a fan of actress Michelle Lam (otherwise known on YouTube as Cutiemish).
