Watching this film is like being force fed hideous left wing, sixth form politics.
The story, setting and characterizations are completely unbelievable and the acting atrocious.
How this ever got commissioned is a mystery. Maybe the producer was a one armed lesbian dwarf?

A bad "Children Of Men" rip-off (how lazy were they to even get the same actress to play the black girl?) with terrible acting and shoddy writing. There was nothing there for us to care about the characters at all. It was completely lifeless and devoid of any dramatic tension or emotional resonance.
I think it was Channel 4 attempting to branch out and make a big budget series to try and compete with America, but it has failed miserably in its attempt.
England just can't do things like this. Fact.

This is in no way a rip off of Children Of Men! Do you even know anything about this story??? Its a *beep* bible story for starters, and just because they have decided to do a modern day approach to it, in know way makes it a rip-off.
Il admit, i dont know about this actress which is supposedly in both films but i am from the area in which this film is shot, and all the cast (discluding main characters) were taken from the local community.
