I'll start off by saying i do not believe the grand conspiracy theories, BUT to have 4 black boxes go missing when they have basically NEVER been destroyed in a crash before seems pretty sketchy. I saw a show hosted by jesse Ventura today, and that question really was never answered even when he talked to a top guy with the FBI about it.
shareThe problem with all that is that it isn't actually all true. Two black boxes were recovered (American 77 and United 93). And despite popular belief, black boxes on airplanes are NOT indestructable. They have been destroyed before. I'm not terribly surprised that a show hosted by conspiracy loon Jesse Ventura did not come up with an answer to this question. If he asked the right people, he could have.

Hey, let me first of all thank you for answering my question. Secondly, the expert he went to about black boxes said less than 1% of ALL black boxes were EVER destroyed, AND the odds of ALL the black boxes in the 9-11 disaster planes being completely destroyed were less than 1% seems suspect to me.
That said, I still don't subscribe to the grand conspiracy theories being bandied about, BUT the odds of ALL the black boxes being destroyed doesn't sit right. i CAN believe that some were found and the contents not being made available to the public for whatever reasons though. It still seems shady though if this is indeed the case IMO, BUT I still refuse to believe that the U.S. government was responsible for this tragedy!
