Tori's friend was dumb (Spoilers)

I don't recall her friend's name, but it's the girl in the pink who was locked up in the freezer. At the very end when they are held at gunpoint by Phil, she kept trying to run (twice, I think)... WHY would you do that when you know you won't get far; he could have shot her in a nanosecond. Tori's character was trying to calm him down, and she kept making it worse...What an idiot!
That was one of th emany things that annoyed me in this movies...what the characters kept doing made no sense.
