At the time of this post, EVERY reviewer gave it a 10. And also "coincidentally", every one of those reviewers have only written ONE review each. For this film.

I was just sitting here bored and see that this movie is on demand but skeptical as to it being any good or not. I've noticed a lot of IMDB user reviews are crap.

I still think Elizabeth Shue is attractive and a good actress. I hope she's getting some decent material sent her way.

Thanks for the reply. My state of mind, at the time, was that I had watched a few too many bad films and couldn't bear another without a strong or at least intriguing review. I do get some value out of watching pretty much any film but my tolerance was low. Of course I would watch it before commenting on it. I like Elizabeth Shue, Imogen Poots, Frances Conroy and Will Patton but I've seen Taryn Manning in two of the worst films I've seen in a long time, The Devil's Tomb and Speed of Thought. The trailer didn't sell it very well either.

This "film" is awful. There's a scene where SR is in a bar and a black guy walks up to her and says "I bet you like to get eff'd" and then it cuts to scene where he's doing her from behind in an alley while she looks like she's being tortured.
That pretty much sums up my experience of sitting through this piece of crap.
Although I will admit, Taryn Manning was the best thing about it. She plays crazy to perfection.

I find it pretty gross that Brooks herself is actually encouraging her fans to give her movie a higher rating. I saw it just now on twitter:

i just watched this and i thought it was actually really good!!
I enjoyed all the twists and the acting was amazing by everyone in it.
If you dont like Kat then why are u bothering so much on her movies boards?
If you didnt like it then just go watch something else and dont buy it. pretty simple. there is PLENTY of people and movies i dont like but i dont feel the need to go spend my time on there message boards. Kat made this movie, she can tell her fans anything she wants.
When you write and direct something then you have the right to do whatever you want. til then...maybe go get a life?
