Song at the end of the final episode

Does anyone know the name of the song that was playing during the end of the final episode? Or who sings it?

reply

If the episode name is "I'm Gonna Need a Big Night Light", the song could be "Where ever you will go" by The Calling.

That is the only song listed on the site http://www.heardontv.com/ for that episode.

By the way, that is a good site to find music for any TV show, though it is not comprehensive. It doesn't list every song for any given episode of any given show.

There is also http://www.tunefind.com/. But it doesn't list any songs for Saving Grace.

Thank you for your reply. I will look for it on iTunes and look at the links to find songs from other shows.

I've used both those sites in the past to find songs I liked on TV episodes.

It's a shame that while movies will give credit to every piece of music used in them, TV shows don't. Many TV shows have used terrific songs in them, and it can be hard to find out what those songs are, and who performed them. That seems unfair to the artists giving their music to the TV shows.

I've noticed on some TV shows that are closed captioned that when a song starts playing it will have the name of the song and who its being sung by. Also on here if you go to a certain episode of a show it will have the soundtrack listed, not for every episode or every song but most of them.

Yes, I've often turned on CC to better see the lyrics of a song, and the name and artist performing it. That works less often than I would like, however.

As for IMDB listing soundtracks for TV shows, they do so in a far more limited way than the two sites I mentioned do. After all, I found the answer to your question on one of them, not here, right?

I do wish TV shows would give music credits during their end credits, like movies do, though. But at the same time, I notice many channels, mostly the cable channels, put ending credits in a small box while they advertise another show, or in some circumstances even start the opening scene of the next show that is airing. That can be frustrating, too, if you are looking for credits for actors in smaller character roles that don't get named at the beginning of a show. Of course, then I just come here.
