nothing really happened...

After the movie I had the feeling that nothing really happened... The situation in the beginning is kind of the same as in the end (except for the dog)
I expected more of this movie. It's ok, but not great. Some scenes I really liked were the references to the past: at the swimming pool and so on.
I always wanted to see 'steve and sky' but if it's the same genre, i don't know...

Steve and Sky is a totally different film, leans more to the flashback scènes you like in Dagen Zonder Lief. I like Dagen Zonder Lief more, because it's so sober. Nothing really happens indeed, but the small scènes are off great brilliance and are so recognisable... Small scènes, small emotions, great effect on the viewer, in my opinion.

Nothing happened?

Of course. It's a foreign film.

What do you mean?
That doesn't make any sense at all!

I watched this movie on a bus travelling from Dover to Liverpool, even then it felt like a complete waste of my time. This movie even gave me a headache, which makes it the only movie that has ever made me feel physically ill. I agree that there were a few good scenes, and the cinematography was pretty good, but other than that it was just pretentious, pseudo-intellectual *beep*

I agree. Watching this movie was a waste of time.

In fact, a lot happened.
They weren't the same people as before, they have responsibilities now.
And things can never be the same again.
But then again, I'm 44 :-)
