Throwing Stars is in final negotiations for distribution next year. It is a dark comedy featuring actors Scott Grimes, who plays Dr. Archie Morris on the television series ER; Wayne Knight, who played Newman on television series Seinfeld; and Kevin Durand, who played Red in the film Wild Hogs and Jeeves Tremor in Smokin' Aces. The film took 16 months to complete and it premiered June 6 this year at the CineVegas Film Festival, where it won the Audience Award.

Skeels said several distribution offers came in after the first screening and TigerLily is in final negotiations with Delaware-based Screen Media Ventures LLC to distribute Throwing Stars. A limited distribution is scheduled for March 2008 and a larger distribution launch will be based on the results of the first screenings.

Skeels said TigerLily is moving more toward film production to establish the business as a feature film company in the Southeast. 'It's key to our branding to have films out there performing well.'
