Laugh-out-loud funny!! Just saw it at the Hollywood Theater near the Jacksonville airport. Received almost no notice in local paper but slowly building through word of mouth. Shouldn't be missed.

Lunita. Check out the ratings for the newest Paris Hilton flick The Hottie And The Nottie. It will most certainly reach IMDB lowest rating ever NO DOUBT ABOUT IT.

If you look at the way the votes are broken down -- http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0830681/ratings -- that explains it a bit. There are 13 "10" votes and 6 "1" votes, and the rest are in the middle. Apparently it's a "love it or hate it"? That or the votes are rigged one way or another :-P

A) they had something to do with the movie
B) they found it is was filmed near them and are excited because Jacksonville is a crappy redneck town full of idiots.
The reason it has a 2 rating:
A) the people that voted actually SAW the movie and voted based on it's merits which are... well... I will let the score answer that.
Wrong again, tobias66 - I saw this movie at the CineVegas film festival and loved it. Funny, original, and entertaining. I'll go rate it an 8 and maybe those of us who ACTUALLY SAW the film can bring its rating up to respectability.
