meg looks at least 18 years old, so not believable

I mean, come on the girl who plays Meg looks honestly at least 20 years old and maybe can pass for 18 to the youngest but not any younger. so that was really unbelievable.

Yes I agree, but casting this character most likely was quite difficult. The role was brutal with many sexually perverted and extremely hideous scenes that filming would be subjected to all sorts of regulatory monitoring. Having said that I don't know how old the actress actually was when filming took place, but yes she did seem like an older girl dressed up as a younger child.

The actress who played Meg was born in 1985 so she was 21 or 22.

well there you go, I was right. she was way older than her character's age and it really shows, it totally takes me out of the movie and totally ruins the realism that this movie tried to get.

exactly, you're getting my problem with buying her as an under 18 year old girl. but when you said casting the role was difficult with sexually perverted and extremely hideous scenes, well what about all the without a doubt underage boys who saw all that happened to her while filming took place??? I mean that's the biggest moral and ethical mistake that they made, filming this movie. you talk about lifelong scars on all those poor boys.

Nude scenes she's need to be of legal age.
She is pretty cute which I am sure during the interview that would have helped sway the cast director.

yeah, I'm sure it swayed him to have sex with her on the casting couch, ha ha! she is remarkably beautiful, so naturally beautiful and so innocent looking and so cute. but you're wrong to say that she had to be of legal age to show nudity. just look at Thora Birch in American beauty to get evidence of this, she was under 18 when she was in it. all you have to do is get your parent's permission and you can then show nudity underage in an American made movie.

so what?thora birch parents waned 40 years olds masturbaes on hora's breasts..does that mean all parens are like that?maybe the director could not find a girl play the role with parens permission...besides thora birch had no rape and torture scenes in American beauty

I just gave you evidence that it happens and you still don't believe me that it could've happened for this movie??? grow up! it's not like there is any, any shortage of young, under 18 girls willing to do anything to get a role in a movie and really wanting to become an actress.
