Which is worse? Quantum of Solace or Spectre?

I found Quantum of Solace unwatchable, but maybe it's not as bad as Spectre.

idk i thought there be a couple good scenes in this movie. it was definitely one of the lesser films in Craigs james bond collection as well as with spectre. i only saw spectre once and this one a couple times so i cant really have an opinion about which one i liked more but right now i remember more parts of quantum of solace that be pretty cool. reading this post got me wanting to watch spectre again to compare but i thought quantum of solace was better

Quantum of solace is so much worse

reply

I never made it through QOS, it is unwatchable.

reply

Believe me the end in no way redeems all of the incoherent nonsense that came before it.

Skyfall is worse than both. The most inexplicably overhyped & overrated Bond film ever.

reply

Gonna have to disagree. Skyfall might be overrated, but it's still a great Bond, and it's eons better than Quantum.

reply

We'll have to agree to disagree then. Calling it a contrived & convoluted clusterf*ck is an understatement.

This is the best thing about The Something of Boris by a country mile:-

I love that song.

I heard it and loved it, and at some point lost it and it took eons to find it back.

Quantum of Solace is my least favourite Bond film. Spectre is too long and doesn't handle Blofeld well, but it's a darn sight better than QoS.

reply

Quantul of Solace is passable, "Spectre" is a goddamn mess. There's no point in watching anything past the first scene.

reply

I tried to watch Spectre three times and can't get past the first set piece. Plus that's basically a remake of Austin Powers: Goldmember doesn't help.

So QOS is better, but not good.

reply

"Spectre" is worse, the first 15 minutes is brilliant and the rest is just horrible.

"Quantum" isn't good, but it doesn't feel like 2 hours of pokes in they eye with a sharp stick. Although maybe I'm prejudiced, since it uses my favorite area from "Tosca" as the music for an action sequence, nobody seems to appreciate Scarpia's big solo except the filmmakers and me.
