One of the best shows ever made for TV.

One of the best shows ever made for TV.

One of the ONLY good shows ever made for TV.

Excellent writing, acting, photography, special effects and concept.

Riveting.

Perfect production design and execution.

A haunting blend of Americana surreality. Ghost towns, cults, area 51, Route 66, paranormal experiments, an abandoned roadside motel in the middle of the desert and the Bermuda triangle, all rolled into one.

True, a show that achieved perfection and was over looked. No heroes were super, no villains were diabolical but the plot was beyond our comprehension. We were forced to look at ourselves as Americans, in the Americana way, and left wanting. I say this in the route 66 term, as we left our true self behind to look at a future that puts our past in a campy b-movie haze. There are so many movies out now that rely on title and star power that the story is forgotten, and this is a good story. I could go on about RT. 66 and the open road but if you dont have them in your heart the rant might be lost. Any way this is a good story played out by a great cast and put together by a great crew. Not to be misted if you love a good mystery, action, drama.

Maybe beyond your comprehension. The script is stupid!

it was pretty average actually

Exactly...
It started out kind of promising but then they just completely dropped the ball after a couple of episode, not to mention the downright disappointing ending where nothing is explained. Even Lost managed to stay great longer than that.

Why does everything need to be explained? This isn't some DIY furniture package from Ikea.

Just seen episode 1... and I think it's decent but wouldn't say it's more than that. Characters stay a little too much on the surface in my point of view.

lol!!! This series was awful and Peter Krause can't act for *beep*

The series was effing brilliant! Say no to naysayers!

As an update, we recently binge watched the entire series FRINGE on DVD and fell in love with it.

We dumped Comcast back in '07 so we don't watch cable anymore, but my GF found a copy of season 1 laying around at the office, took it home and we were instantly hooked.

A superbly crafted limited budget series.

The "Brown Betty" episode is a masterpiece.

Yes, a few of the episodes are redundant.

A Fringe event is reported.

Broyes shows up at the scene to brief the Fringe team.

Walter orders the body brought back to the lab.

Astrid is cute.

The team visits Nina in search of leads

Olivia and Peter break into a suspect's apartment (well, as long as we are already here) or (the door was already open).

A chase scene.

Something happens in the suspect's life that mirrors Olive, Walter and Peter's relationship.

The case is solved but only leaves more questions pertaining to unseen higher authorities being in control of everything.

Similar to The Lost Room in many respects, it is one of the best TV series ever.
