I kinda agree with you.

It's always been over rated, but time has not been kind to it. Of course some of it is still hilarious, but the Seth character is just so self centered and annoying that most things he does come off as annoying rather than funny these days. Even when it came out I thought it was OK but not great, still seems to be about that good to me...

I agree. I always thought it was mediocre even when it first came out. I had just graduated high school at that time, and everybody was saying it was our generation's American Pie, but this movie isn't even on the same level as American Pie.
