Language !!!!!!

It's a really good movie. and that's because, it is based on a true story. About half of the dialogues are in other language than English, and that is Urdu. If someone says these dialogues are in Hindi, then he is wrong, this can be verified by a dialogue in the movie itself, when the kidnappers call Mariane and she tells Asra that someone is talking in Urdu and that she can't understand it.

The dialogue, which all Urdu/Hindi speakers liked was when the captain calls some cell company to trace the number and when he refuses the captain says: "Hamarey Paas Waqt kam hey Behen Chod !" (we don't have enough time bastard).

it irritated me that they translated Bhenchod as bastard

as it really means sister fvuker :P

I guess the connotation is correct, he was just insulting the guy, but still....sometimes a direct literal translation is more entertaining..and show the world how colorful urdu can me.

And hindi.

its a shared word :)
