Great story...Strange character.

I have just watched this film and im still very confused as to weather i actually enjoyed it or not, i think the story is fantastic and brilliantly done, you don't expect the ending but there are a few hiccups to say the least.

The lead character, played by jolie seems to have a bit of a chip on her shoulder from the start. She just seems arrogant and a throws her toys out the pram when things are not going her way. Also when she does some of her t.v interviews near the end she lacks any emotion at all and could be doing an interview for anything. People have said jolie was a mis-cast but i think its the character of this woman that is so hard to play, i can't think of another actress i could see doing this role.

The other point is how much they try to drive home the sympathy card, sometimes it feels like thier ramming it down your throat, like with the numerous home video's we are shown, countless times shes repeats 'i love you' hoping he will her and the cringing over-dramtic scene where she finds out her husbands fate.

These two combined just leave you feeling sorry for the guys friends and co-workers in the film rather than the wife, the person i felt sorry for the most was the poor pakistani bloke who was terrified of being tourtured because he inadvertantly introduced danny to terroists. Great story, shame about the small flaws that cause a big impact.
