Reminds me of

The beginning of the movie reminded me of "Man in the Moon" where Jason London (twin of Jeremy) and Reese Witherspoon had roles. I guess because the girl in this one playing Sadie reminded me of Reese and of course Jeremy resembles his brother, although the brother is much cuter. It just took me back to that movie and of course I love the Man in the Moon movie. It must be hard to have a twin and try to find your own nitch and then it makes it extra hard when casting puts you with a blond like Reese.
I thought the movie was ok, a typical Hallmark movie full of sap and predicting the outcome within the first hour. Sally Struthers looks awful now, she needs to drop some weight.

I just saw it for the first time this afternoon.
It reminded me of Meet the Parents.

If you think that it resembles Jason's movie "Man in the Moon" you should watch "Out of the Woods" which he is also in. It is also very similar.

Both movies are about L.A. laywers who go into a rural area and have to deal with a grumpy old man. Both like a blonde girl. Both have troubles with a wolf (or what they THINK is a wolf). Both guys get stranded outside overnight in bad weather. Both make friends with the old guy in the end and decide to stay in the country, giving up their big city life. Both have issues involving their cars.

BUT each movie is a different story and both are worth watching!!! The London's are equally good in each one. It is funny in each one that Jason and Jeremy, who were raised around the country and are both very familiar with what to do in those settings, have to pretend they dont know what to do.

Doc Hollywood, New in Town...... urban professional meets Hicksville, USA seems to be a popular formula for romcoms. Each one has a car accident as a central plot device, too.
