Ok, so... Wiki says that Piper finds out that Julia isn't really her daughter. But after seeing the film a couple times, I think Julia IS her daughter... and Noah was lying about the post-partum depression thing. Am I right? I need to see it again to confirm... but am I missing something here? It seems clear that Julia's mom is Piper.
I think you're just projecting what you want to be true onto the movie, instead of just taking it as it is. Unless I missed some major deleted scenes or behind the scenes footage, it was made really clear that Piper is not Julia's mum - she wanted her to be her Julia, but she wasn't. It'd be pretty twisted to have Noah lie to her about that then have them get together in the end, with her still believing the lie - he was telling the truth about his wife and Julia not being Piper's daughter.

Nope. He wasn't even that vague about it, he explained the suicide attemp and how her mother broke her fingers for having an accident. He told her about the abuse that happened and then Piper freaks out when he says something about post-partem depression, dialogue from the scene:
Noah: I can accept the suicide attempt as post-partem depression but everything else was a clear pattern of abuse
Piper: Post-partem depression? But you have to give birth for that to happen.
Noah: Yeah...
Piper: But Julia is adopted.
Noah: What? No she's not, why would you think that?
Piper: Yeah she is!
Noah: No she's not, Anna - I was in the delivery room at the hospital, she's not adopted. Jesus Christ you look like you're gonna be sick.
Piper: God no...
Noah: Anna, what's wrong?
Piper: She's not my baby?
Noah: What? No. Anna-
Piper: I'm not Anna, I'm not anyone.
In fair, he says "I know your secret and will speak later" In my opinion she really ge mother and did these horrible things. However she supressed and don't remember. He knows and wanted to speak about it but after seeing her emotional status decided not to open this topic again.
No chance. There's no indication he's lying.
