Does anyone know the wording of the line when the blind man says how his guitar is the second one made and the first one went to the devil? Liked that quote. Thanks!

I assumed that it was a reference to Robert Johnson, who sang about having sold his soul to to the devil in return for his skill at the guitar, as story repeated by the blues singer picked up on the road in "Oh Brother".
