I've tried to sit through this movie 3 times!!!!
...and have not been able to continue.... I mean, I've watched bad movies before and I am actually a fan of Wes, but deammm.....what the heck is going on with this movie....????
I hardly blame you, I can barely sit through the IMDb page. I'm not a zombie movie fan; to me they're all the same movie.

It would be easier to get through the movie if they had re-ordered the explanation of events. The badguy & his crew have previously been killed by Aman (the scenes where Snipes is bald and swirl-painted going into the jail) and now they walk again because Aman made a deal with some unknown force in which any person that he, Aman, kills will return as undead so Aman can kill them again for what they did to his woman.
So basically, the skinned guy that dons the white hair and his cronies are the undead versions of the people who raped Aman's woman 8 years ago. All except the son of the gang leader/the skinned man/Kansa who killed himself in jail from the guilt of being made to 'take his turn'.
