Weird West

A good example of the weird west genre, which I find interesting. I also saw at least three tribute, I hope they were, scenes to Sergio Leone's westerns. A scene from Once Upon A Time In The West, a scene from My Name Is Nobody, and a scene from The Good, The Bad, And The Ugly. As I said, definitely Weird West and better than I expected.

Agreed, they the producers tried to ape the master, but ended up just looking completely and irrevocably out of their depth and skill sets.🐭

I can agree with you that few can ever top the master in anything but I can cut them a little slack. I am sure the producers did not have the budget that Sergio Leone had even by today's comparison. Also, I am sure Wesley Snipes's cut probably was a big factor and I think he was about to be sent to prison for "tax issues". It is a movie that I can watch again on occasion.

I thought it was so-so. I like the premise but couldn't wholly buy into the film for some unknown reason. It looks good though.
