the convertible car??

does anyone know what make/model the car is in the trailer. It's awesome!!

I think you will find it's an Alvis. I had the pleasure of driving it when I stood-in for Jim in a few scenes. It was also used in the "Kingdom" series on TV.

The Alvis is a cool car. John-4211, in which scene's did you drive the car? I have wondered whether a stunt driver was used for some of the beach driving scenes, those were awesome.

Alas! My driving scenes ended on the cutting room floor. I drove it in the country near Over Haddon in Derbyshire, and in the driveway and roads around Weston Lodge near Kedleston, also in Derbyshire. I was on screen in the scenes at the table sitting next to Juliet Stevenson when Blake was given the Vodka as a toast, and at the bar, I was the one that Jim went over to speak to. All good fun!

Thanks, John! Pity your driving scenes were cut, cool you still made an appearance in the movie though.

Thank you for responding to the other user's request...I had been searching for hours on the Internet trying to find a car that matched the triangular AMS logo, then thought, "maybe I'll just poke around on UNDb a bit..and voila! And even get to read about a lucky devil who got to drive it in the movie! Thanks!

Thanks for confirming that it was exactly the same car from 'Kingdom'. You've saved me some research. :)
