Jonathan S in the movie?

I saw this MW in the series and it was one of the best. My wife thought that the character Jonathan Stanfield (sp?) was played by Pee Wee Herman (Paul Reubens). After she mentioned it I agreed with her that there was a strong
resemblance. Does anyone out there in cinema land know for sure if we are correct?
