Which Rochester, Fassbender or Rafe Spall?

Rafe Spall plays Rochester in Wide Sargasso Sea (2006)
Michael Fassbender plays Rochester in Jane Eyre (2011)
Both Fassbender and Rafe Spall are in Prometheus as David and Millburn.

Which portrayal of Rochester you like it more?
I choose Rafe Spall. (Wide Sargasso Sea, 2006)

I enjoyed Nathaniel Parker in the earlier, cinema version of WSS.

I liked Rafe a lot. I'm not rally a fan of Toby Stevens, but I can imagine him playing the part very well.

Well think about how many version of Jane Eyre there are, you would have a huge list to choose from! I belive I own them all!! Which Rochester is the most believable? Orson Wells was a mean Rochester, but Joan Fontaine was too pretty to play Jane. George C. Scott was a good one too! Most fo the guys and girls who play Rochester and Jane are to good looking to play them. But all of them are great films.

Toby Stephens is my favorite Rochester, hands down. His performance (and Sandy Welch's script) in the 2006 version really nailed Rochester's sense of humor, which is sorely lacking in other adaptations. Plus, his chemistry with Ruth Wilson was fantastic.
