Possibly the worst movie I saw in 2008

...
I just don't understand who greenlit this film... Who thought this was a good storyline? Nothing happened! None of the character were developed - none of them had any sort of human relationships within each other. Overall it was a long drawn out movie about nothing. It fallowed so many arbitrary characters it was hard to keep track of who was who.

If that point of the movie was to show how mundane life is in Las Angeles the filmmaker succeeded..
It was one giant poorly constructed clumsy mess of a film.

From what I can surmise based on da innanets, "writer"/"director" Jason Freeland decided to roll all his half-baked ideas culled during his stint in Los Angeles as a failed auteur into a vague, cynical, episodic feature. Conferring with his friend, a "producer," the two concluded that a film set in the very city in which they both were trying to succeed would be just the ticket to advance them beyond the bottom tier of entertainment industry professionals. Freeland's imitation of a screenplay circulated to a sufficient number of money-bearing contacts, who then agreed to finance his vanity project created not out of dramatic necessity, but to affirm to himself: "Yes, I am a Serious Filmmaker." And to turn a profit, which it has yet to do.

The result of this process is the "movie about nothing" of which you speak.

Actually this is one of the worst movies I have ever seen. No plot, no character development, poor acting, trying to make "artistic" shots. Ugh.
